Farah Rani is a Malaysian actress based in Kuala Lumpur.

 

Over the span of 15 years, Farah has been an avid theatre practitioner, having performed extensively in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Tokyo and Australia. 

 

 

Biography

Some notable achievements include being a six-time recipient of Malaysia’s premier theatre award, the Boh Cameronian Arts Awards as:

 

  • Best Supporting Actor (Nadirah, 2012)

  • Best Performance by an Ensemble (Projek Disko Baldi, 2011)

  • Two back-to-back wins in the category of Audience Choice for Projek Disko Baldi and Projek Disko Baldi in Love.

  • 'Best Of' Award at the 2016 and 2017 Boh Cameronian Arts Awards for The Language Archive and Kandang

On screen, Farah has been featured in Liew Seng Tat’s Flowers in the Pocket (as Cikgu Dara), Carmen Soo’s If Only (as Young Ira), Megat Sharizal’s Budak Baru (as Azlynn) , Prakash Murugiah’s Flashes (as Priscilla) and Dain Said's Iman Untuk Bulan (as Ida).

Farah was trained at the Michael Howard Studios in New York City.
